Het klooster St. Georgenberg is een voormalige cisterciënzersabdij onder het patroon van de Heilige Mauritius in de Noordhessische stad Frankenberg in de Landkreis Waldeck-Frankenberg. Het drievleugelige gebouwcomplex is tegenwoordig de zetel van een bestuursbuitendienst van de kring.
In het jaar 1242 stichtte Konrad van Itter het nonnenklooster Butzebach, in een afgelegen bosgebied in het dal van de Nuhne, de zogenaamde "Butzebach", ongeveer 6 kilometer ten noorden van Frankenberg tussen de huidige dorpen Schreufa en Sachsenberg).
