In directe nabijheid van het natuurreservaat "Schwarzes Venn" ligt aan de grens met Velen de Artesische Bron. Deze bron zorgt voor ontspanning en verfrissing. Het ligt temidden van bomen en een betoverend landschap. Hier kan men volgens de regels van pastoor Sebastian Kneipp iets voor de gezondheid doen. De Artesische Bron ligt in het noordoosten van Heiden, aan de grens met Velen en Reken, en is bereikbaar via de Venneweg.
