Oost-Friesland , Saterfries: Aastfräislound) is een streek in het uiterste noordwesten van de Duitse deelstaat Nedersaksen, grenzend aan de Waddenzee in het noorden en aan de Nederlandse provincie Groningen in het westen. Tot het gebied behoren ook de Oost-Friese Waddeneilanden. Belangrijke plaatsen zijn Aurich, Emden, Leer, Norden en Wittmund. Oost-Friesland had op 1 januari 2021 in totaal 468.919 inwoners.
