De top van de Col de Fréland ligt op 834 m hoogte, maar wie verder rijdt via Aubure en daar links af slaat richting St.-Marie-aux-Mines kan nog 50 meter hoger klimmen tot op het hoogste punt van 880 m.
Nog wat verder kom je dan op de top van de Col du Haut Ribeauvillé die op 743 m hoogte ligt.
