De Monasteraki van Chrisopigi heeft de belangrijkste kerk van het eiland, genaamd "Panagia Chrisopigi" of "de Heilige Maagd Maria van Chrysopigi". De kerk werd gebouwd in 1650. Ze is gebouwd op de fundamenten van een oude tempel. Het is een van de 224 kerken die vandaag de dag actief zijn. Aan de westzijde van de baai zijn de resten te zien van de laaddok die werd gebruikt om de gewonnen metalen per boot naar Lavrio te transporteren.
