Het Oldambt is een landstreek vlak bij de Duitse grens in Oost-Groningen. Het bestond vanouds uit de onderdelen Klei-Oldambt en Wold-Oldambt. De streek Oldambt omvat behalve de gelijknamige gemeente delen van de gemeenten Eemsdelta en Midden-Groningen, vroeger ook Veendam en delen van Pekela en Stadskanaal. Het Oldambt wordt niet tot de Ommelanden gerekend, maar hoorde tot 1798 bij de stadsjurisdicties van Groningen.
