Ten Boer ) is een plaats en voormalige gemeente in de Nederlandse provincie Groningen. De gemeente besloeg een oppervlakte van 45,71 km² . Bij de opheffing in 2019 en toevoeging aan de gemeente Groningen, telde Ten Boer 7289 inwoners. In het dorp Ten Boer woonden in 2021 4.645 mensen.Ten Boer ligt ruim tien kilometer ten noordoosten van de stad Groningen. In de twintigste eeuw is het deels een forensenplaats geworden.
