In het hart van Het Groene Woud ligt het leefgebied van de edelherten. Vooral in de 2de helft van september is het een aanrader om deze routes af te leggen of de omgeving te bezoeken. Want dan is het volop burltijd en dus bronsttijd van het edelhert.
