Deze 32 kilometer lange fietsroute gaat langs bezienswaardigheden die te maken hebben met de eerste gemotoriseerde vlucht in Nederland. Het startpunt en het eindpunt van deze route is bij het stadskantoor te Etten-Leur.
Op 27 juni 1909 steeg voor de eerste keer in Nederland een gemotoriseerd vliegtuig op. Op initiatief van de Leurse industrieel Heerma van Voss zou de Franse graaf Charles De Lambert met zijn Wright Flyer een demonstratie geven op de Klappenbergse Heide aan de Rijsbergseweg.
Naast het thema 'de eerste vlucht' wordt er ook aandacht besteedt aan de turf geschiedenis en het religieus erfgoed.
