Op helderblauwe dagen is vanuit dit punt de gehele omgeving goedd te zien. Naar het westen zie je het Monchique gebergte, naar het noorden en oosten de Sierra de Calderao, grens tussen Alentejo en Algarve, en naar het zuiden zie je de (volgebouwde) kuststrook. Als je goed kijkt zie je nog de zilverkleurige glinstering van de oceaan afsteken tegen de diepblauwe Algarviaanse hemel.
Ook een mooi punt om de zonsondergang te bekijken, maar bedenk dat het hier snel donker wordt en de weg terug onverlicht is!
