Aquest pintor de Balneari , també dibuixant i gravador, que va néixer l'any 1908 i va morir l'any 1986, va participar en més de 200 exposicions amb més de 4000 obres venudes.
La 'promende des artistes' és una bonica passejada que recorre el 'Ruisseau de la Picherotte' , una vall d'aigua ràpida que ha inspirat diversos artistes. Des del 2014, 7 ponts sobre l'aigua reben el nom d'artistes locals.
