Bayern de Munic, nom complet el Fußball-Club Bayern München e. V., és un club de futbol alemany de la ciutat de Munic a Baviera. De fet, el terme Bayern és el mot alemany que designa la regió de Baviera. Tant per palmarès com per afició és el club més famós del seu país.
El Bayern va ser fundat el 27 de febrer de 1900. Franz John, jugador del Münchner TurnVerein 1879 i deu dels seus companys, cansats de les condicions en les quals havien de treballar en el seu club que era bàsicament gimnàstic, es van reunir aquell dia per a escindir-se del club. El club que van crear el van anomenar Schwabinger Bayern, però aviat adoptà l'actual nom de FC Bayern.
