Soriguera és un poble i municipi de la comarca del Pallars Sobirà. A partir del 1972, durant uns anys s'anomenà, com a municipi Soriguera i Estac. És al terç sud d'aquesta comarca. El cap municipal és actualment la vila de Vilamur, i inclou l'entitat municipal descentralitzada de Tornafort. Ja pertanyia a l'antic municipi de Soriguera, del qual era el cap de districte municipal, abans que hi fos afegit el d'Estac.
