L'església va ser construïda als primers anys del segle XVII en nom dels Cavallers de Jerusalem, també coneguts com la Companyia dels Deu Mil Màrtirs.
L'estructura actual mostra una façana senzilla i els motius decoratius recorden els temes del martiri, com ara les palmeres i el llorer. Al centre de l'estructura hi ha un medalló d'estuc que conté sant Acaci i els seus 9.000 soldats que, juntament amb altres 1.000 pagans, van ser torturats per l'emperador romà perquè la seva conversió al cristianisme era considerada una traïció.
L'estructura es troba actualment (2023) abandonada.
