La Catedral de la Salvació del Poble Romanès , també coneguda com la Catedral Nacional , és una catedral ortodoxa en construcció a Bucarest per servir com a catedral patriarcal de l'església ortodoxa romanesa. Es troba al centre de Bucarest al turó de Spirea , davant del mateix pati que el Palau del Parlament, que és l'edifici més pesat del món, la catedral té una dècima part del seu pes. Situat darrere del Palau del Parlament, el farà 50 metres més alt que el Palau i contribuirà a convertir la catedral en un punt emblemàtic de la ciutat. La Catedral de la Salvació del Poble es troba a 86,2 metres sobre el nivell del mar i a 135 metres d'alçada . Manté una posició dominant en el paisatge urbà de Bucarest i és visible des de totes les aproximacions a la ciutat.
