Pfons er en tidligere kommune med sidst 1224 indbyggere i distriktet Innsbruck-Land i Tirol. Den tidligere kommune ligger i retskredsen Innsbruck. Pfons ligger i den nordlige Wipptal, øst for Sill, lige ved siden af Matrei am Brenner. Det udstrakte område af den tidligere kommune omfatter de små landsbyer og gårde på den østlige Wipptalterrasse op til Navistal. Grænsen mod vest dannes af Sill, i nordvest ligger det laveste punkt med 880 meter over havet. Mod øst stiger landet op til 2790 meter i Grønbergs spids i Tuxer Alperne. Dræningen sker via Falkasanerbach, der danner grænsen mod nord, Riggelesbach og Pfoner Bach, alle højre sidebække til Sill.
