As er en by og kommune i den belgiske provins Limburg og tilhører den retlige kanton Bree og valgkanton Genk. Kommunen har omkring 8000 indbyggere, som kaldes Assenaren. I 1901 blev den første limburgske kul fundet i As af André Dumont. Dette markerede begyndelsen på industrialiseringen, som især de omkringliggende kommuner havde gavn af. I dag er As en residential landsby midt i heden og skovområderne på grænsen til Kempen og Maasland.
