Hechtel-Eksel er en kommune i Limburg i Belgien. Kommunen har over 12.000 indbyggere og blev dannet i 1977 ved sammenlægningen af landsbyerne Hechtel og Eksel. Fusionskommunen tilhører valgkredsen Peer og retskredsen Houthalen-Helchteren. På grund af fraværet af industri er Hechtel-Eksel en typisk boligkommune. Hechtel-Eksel er også sammen med Neerpelt en af de dyreste boligkommuner i Limburg.
