Denne hvide søjle minder om bidraget fra den New Zealandske division den 4. og 12. oktober 1917. Monumentets sted blev erobret af new zealænderne den 4. oktober. For de tyske tropper, der netop havde planlagt et angreb, da new zealænderne stormede deres skyttegrave, var dette en sort dag.
Søjlen har en inskription på hollandsk, fransk og engelsk.
Lige i nærheden kan der besøges en lille britisk bunker langs vejen.
