Det står på et kryds i Bois de la Borzeu langs den gamle vej fra Liège til Stavelot og videre til Luxembourg, en vigtig vej i det 18. og 19. århundrede. Vejen når her sit højeste punkt - omkring 500m - mellem dalen af Roannay og dalen af Amblève.
