Zermatt er en kommune i distriktet Visp i den tysktalende del af kantonen Valais i Schweiz. Den har en befolkning på cirka 5.800 indbyggere og klassificeres som en by af det schweiziske føderale statistiske kontor.
Den ligger i den øverste ende af Mattertal i en højde af 1.620 m, ved foden af Schweiz' højeste tinder. Den ligger cirka 10 km fra den over 3.292 m høje Theodulpas, der grænser op til Italien.
