Neuss er en storby i Nordrhein-Westfalen. Den ligger ved den venstre Rheinside på den modsatte side af Düsseldorf og er med omkring 150.000 indbyggere Tysklands største by, der er tilknyttet en kommune, og som mellemcenter samtidig den største by i Rhein-Kreis Neuss. På listen over storbyer i Tyskland indtager den plads 54. Byen er især kendt for sin romerske fortid, havnen ved Rhinen og Neusser Bürger-Schützenfest. I 1984 fejrede den sin 2000-års jubilæum og er dermed en af de ældste byer i Tyskland.
