Hennef er en by i Rhein-Sieg-Kreis i Nordrhein-Westfalen med næsten 100 lokalsamfund ved floden Sieg. Antallet af bydele, der dels er grupperet i lokalsamfund, ligger endnu højere. Derfor bærer Hennef også tilnavnet "Byen med 100 landsbyer".
Hennef ligger mellem Bergisches Land og Westerwald ved begyndelsen af Sieg-dalens udmunding, cirka 30 km i fugleflugt sydøst for Köln og 14 km i fugleflugt mod øst-nordøst fra Bonn. Det højeste punkt i byområdet er omkring 285 m over NHN ved kanten af bydelen Eichholz, mens det laveste punkt er knap 60 m over NHN ved Sieg nær bydelen Stoßdorf.
