Det har 17 km af klippestrækning, som gør det til en turistdestination året rundt, med strande som Bréhec og Pors Pin. Plouézec er venskabsby med den irske by Ballinamore, og tvillingekomitéen afholder en Fest Noz-festival hver august omkring Moulin de Craca, som regelmæssigt tiltrækker tusindvis af besøgende. Der er traditionel irsk og bretonsk musik samt mad og drikke til rådighed. Især populær er den berømte moules-frites, som er en ret med muslinger og pomfritter.
