Den befæstede landsby blev grundlagt i koncentriske cirkler, der stadig er klart synlige, omkring en kunstig høj, der er resultatet af jorden fra gravningen af forsvarskanten. Denne Motte, nævnt i teksterne allerede i det 9. århundrede, rejser sig til en højde af 12 m, på en base af 40 meter, kronet af ruinerne af et polygonalt tårn lavet af flint med kløvet belægning i kanterne. Denne borg (registreret i listen over historiske bygninger siden 1971) går tilbage til det 11. århundrede og omfattede to etager, hvor godsejerens og hans families bolig var placeret. Det er, i Loiret, det eneste befæstede Motte-tårn fra højmiddelalderen, der stadig eksisterer.
