Alne er en landsby og civil parish i Hambleton Distriktet i North Yorkshire, England, omkring tolv miles nordvest for York og fire miles fra Easingwold. Parrokkens befolkning er 711, hvilket stiger til 756 ved folketællingen i 2011.
Landsbyen er nævnt i Dommedagbogen som en del af Bulford Hundred og ejet af kirken St Peter, York. Navnet kan være afledt fra det latinske ord Alnus for Alm, da landsbyen var omgivet af disse træer. Navnet kan også være afledt fra et flodenavn af Alaunā-typen, afledt fra brittonic al-, "lys, skinnende". Dette kan have været et alternativt navn for floden Kyle.
