Kaltern ved vinruten er en italiensk kommune i Sydtirol med 8085 indbyggere. Kaltern ligger i Überetsch langs den sydtyrolske vinrute.
Marktkommunen Kaltern ligger i det sydlige Sydtirol få kilometer sydvest for provinsens hovedstad Bozen. Det samlede areal på 47,96 km² omfatter den sydlige del af Überetsch – et orografisk hævet bakkelandskab til højre for dalbunden ved Etsch, hvor kommunens beboelsesscentre ligger – samt en sektion af Mendelkamms, som rejser sig vest for dette, og små dele af Underlandet.
