Die Schlick ist ein 5 km langer Talschluss in den Stubaier Alpen rund um die Schlickeralm zwischen den Kalkkögeln und dem Stubaital in Tirol . In der Schlick entspringt der Schlickerbach, der in Fulpmes in die Ruetz mündet.
Vom 14. bis zum 16. Jahrhundert schürfte man in der Schlick nach Eisen und Gold . Neben lokaler früher Kleineisenindustrie wurde das Eisen von Hausierern weitergehandelt. Als im 16. Jahrhundert die Vorkommen erschöpft waren, stellt man auf Schmiedegewerbe um. Dadurch blieb Fulpmes bis heute Industrieort .
