Der Leopoldpark wurde 1860 auf den alten Festungen der Stadt angelegt. Der schöne Musikpavillon wurde 1885 eingeweiht. Erst 1933 wurde die weltberühmte Blumenuhr errichtet an der Stelle, wo sich jetzt die Autobahn befindet. 1963 wurde die Blumenuhr an ihrer heutigen Stelle wieder errichtet.
