La Gombe ist ein Ort in der Gemeinde Esneux, in der belgischen Provinz Lüttich. Es war von dem 15. Jahrhundert bis 1988 ein Sandsteinbruch.
La Gombe liegt am Ufer des Flusses Ourthe, im östlichen Condroz, am Fuß eines steilen Hangs. Der Sandstein wurde zunächst in kleinem Maßstab abgebaut. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte folgten mehrere Steinbrüche aufeinander. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde der Abbau des Bruchs maschinell durchgeführt. 1883 stürzte ein großes Stück des Hangs ab; oben auf dem Hang befand sich bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Ruine des Festungsturms Montfort-la-Tour. Dieser Turm stand im gleichnamigen Viertel Montfort, was wörtlich „verstärkte Berg“ bedeutet. Der Turm war im Mittelalter eine Verteidigungsanlage im damaligen Herzogtum Limburg gegen Überfälle aus dem Herzogtum Luxemburg. Von Montfort-la-Tour ist seit der großen Explosion von 1883 nichts mehr zu finden.
