Die Heilig-Herz-Kirche ist die Pfarrkirche von Winterslag, gelegen an der Evence Coppéeplatz 2, und eine der sogenannten Bergbaukathedralen, die im Auftrag der Eigentümer der Steinkohlenmine von Winterslag erbaut wurde. Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Bergbaukathedralen in Belgisch-Limburg ist diese nicht aus Backstein, sondern aus Bruchstein errichtet. Die Kreuzkirche wurde im eklektizistischen Stil mit neoromanischen Elementen nach dem Entwurf von Adrien Blomme erbaut. Sie wurde von 1923 bis 1925 erbaut. Der niedrige, quadratische Turm ist in die Hauptfassade integriert und wird von einem helmförmigen Spitzdach gedeckt. Auffällig sind die Strebepfeiler und das Querhaus-Türmchen. Im Jahr 2020 wurde die Kirche nach einer umfangreichen Renovierung von 8 Monaten wiedereröffnet, das gesamte Interieur wurde erneuert, und die Kirche erhielt auch neue Möbel. Der neue Altar wurde aus dem Holz der alten Bänke gefertigt.
