Dieser überdachte Picknickplatz befindet sich an der Kreuzung der Fonteinstraat und des Wulvedreef im Wijnendalebos.
Die Adelsfamilien nutzten den Wijnendalebos als Jagdschloss . Bis zur zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts blieb der Wald praktisch intakt.
Der Bau neuer Straßen regte die Rodung an und in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts war der ausgedehnte Wald bereits sehr zerstückelt. Viele exotische Arten wurden im Hinblick auf die Holzgewinnung gepflanzt.
