Die Goor besteht aus Sümpfen und feuchtem Heideland. Wegen des kalkhaltigen, sprudelnden Wassers ist der Reichtum an Pflanzen und Tieren hier einzigartig. Festes Schuhwerk wird empfohlen, da Het Goor sehr nass sein kann.
