Diese Sandgrube ist eine ehemalige Sandgrube, in der Quarz abgebaut wurde, der als der herrliche weiße Sand von Mol bekannt ist. Hier können Wanderer sowohl im Winter als auch im Sommer diesen schönen großen Binnensee mit seiner vielfältigen Flora und Fauna sowie die Umgebung in vollen Zügen genießen.
