Naturwanderung in Schleifenform in Mispeldonk, das Naturschutzgebiet südlich von Bonheiden und dem Imelda-Krankenhaus, zwischen dem Boeimeer und der Dijle. Das Gebiet gehört größtenteils Natuurpunt und schließt an das Mechels Broek und Cassenbroek an. Gemeinsam bilden sie ein nahezu zusammenhängendes Naturschutzgebiet.
Das Gebiet enthält verschiedene Landschaftsarten: von mageren Wiesen, Heuwiesen mit Gehölzsäumen, feuchten Laubholzern bis hin zu renaturierten Heidegebieten.
Die Landschaft entstand am Ende der letzten Eiszeit, vor etwa 10.000 Jahren. Der Mispeldonkbauernhof, der dem Gebiet seinen Namen gab, wurde bereits 1330 erwähnt. (Info: Wikipedia)
