Wir nehmen einen fliegenden Start von Michels Elternhaus in Keiem Richtung der Butterstadt Diksmuide. Zuerst durchqueren wir das Handzame-Tal und das schöne
Stadtzentrum und kommen an die IJzer und das Museum an der IJzer.
Wir ziehen weiter durch die Polder von Bachten-de-Kupe. Schöne Nebenstraßen bringen uns in das liebliche
Sint-Jacobskapelle.
Auf dem Alten Deich nehmen wir die Cayennestraße rechts. Von dort aus fahren wir über die malerischen Dörfer Oostkerke und Stuivekenskerke nach Schoorbakke und Keiem, wo die Route endet.
