Richterswil, im Volksmund Richti genannt, ist eine politische Gemeinde im Bezirk Horgen des Kantons Zürich in der Schweiz.
Die Gemeinde Richterswil liegt zwischen dem süd-westlichen linken Ufer des Zürichsees und der Hügelkette der Höhronen an der Grenze zum Kanton Schwyz. Die Gemeindefläche umfasst 755 Hektaren und erstreckt sich von 408 m ü. M. bis 725 m ü. M. . Die Distanz zu Zürich beträgt rund 25 Kilometer .
