Thörishaus ist eine Ortschaft, welche teilweise zur Gemeinde Köniz bei Bern und teilweise zur Gemeinde Neuenegg bei Bern gehört. Aufgrund dieser politischen Aufteilung wahrt der Ortsverein Thörishaus die Gesamtinteressen der Ortschaft Thörishaus.
Sie hat auf dem Gemeindegebiet von Köniz 1181 Einwohner und erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 3,5 Quadratkilometern. Thörishaus liegt südwestlich von der Hauptstadt Bern. Das Dorf ist gut verbunden mit zwei SBB-Stationen in Thörishaus-Station und Thörishaus-Dorf.
