Bad Schwalbach ist die Kreisstadt im südhessischen Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis. Die Stadt ist eines der ältesten hessischen Heilbäder, zugleich ist sie seit 2014 ein anerkannter Kneippkurort.
Bad Schwalbach ist ein Kurort etwa 20 Kilometer nordwestlich der hessischen Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden. Die Kernstadt liegt in 289 bis 465 Meter Höhe im westlichen Hintertaunus sehr langgestreckt auf 2,5 Kilometer Länge in einem linken Seitental der Aar, das vom Nesselbach durchflossen wird. Über 56 Prozent der Gemarkungsfläche besteht aus Wald.
