Naunhof ist eine Stadt im sächsischen Landkreis Leipzig und grenzt an den südöstlichen Stadtrand von Leipzig. Sie bildet zusammen mit den Gemeinden Belgershain und Parthenstein die Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Naunhof.
Naunhof liegt 20 km südöstlich von Leipzig, in der Leipziger Tieflandsbucht und wird zu 75 Prozent von Wald umschlossen. Durch Naunhof fließt die Parthe. Die Stadt ist für ihre Badeseen bekannt. So gibt es den Naunhofer See , den Ammelshainer See und weiter westlich den Albrechtshainer See.
