Weeze ist eine Stadt und Gemeinde in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Es befindet sich im Ortsteil Kleve. Weeze ist bekannt für die Lage des Flughafens Weeze (ehemals Flughafen Niederrhein) innerhalb seiner Gemeindegrenzen. Weeze hat 10.682 Einwohner. Neben dem Hauptort Weeze besteht die Gemeinde aus den Orten Wemb und Laarbruch (Umgebung des Flughafens).
Luftverkehr
Seit 2003 wird der alte Militärflugplatz Laarbruch für die zivile Luftfahrt genutzt. Der Flughafen Weeze wird hauptsächlich von Ryanair angeflogen.
