Jachenau ist eine Gemeinde im oberbayerischen Landkreis Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. Der gleichnamige Hauptort ist Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung.
Nach der Gemeindegebietsreform 1975 ist Jachenau mit 842 Einwohnern der Bevölkerungszahl nach die kleinste Gemeinde mit eigener Verwaltung in Bayern. Jachenau ist ein staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort, der sich als „Jachenau das Sonnental“ dem „sanften Tourismus“ verpflichtet fühlt.
