In einem bewaldeten Gebiet auf der Gemarkung Wolfsberg betreibt die Deutsche Telekom den 160 Meter hohen Sender Pfaffenhofen zur Abstrahlung von UKW, DVB-T, Mobilfunk und Richtfunk.
Es handelt sich um einen Typenturm aus Stahlbeton vom Typ D, der bundesweit nur fünfmal gebaut wurde. Der Schaft am Boden hat einen Durchmesser von 11,50 m und verjüngt sich bis zum Ende der Betonkonstruktion in 115,50 m auf 3,20 m. Darauf aufgesetzt ist ein GFK-Radom mit innenliegenden Antennen und 2,10 m Durchmesser. Dieses reicht bis 161,95 m über Grund.
