Burg & Weser, Feld, Wald & Mühle
Von der Weser hinein ins verwunschene Hinterland von Polle führt diese Qualitätstour durch dichte Wälder und helle Weiten, vorbei an Sehenswürdigkeiten und herrlichen Ausblicken. Der Weg verbindet aufbesondere Weise dörfliches Leben und kleinbäuerliche Landschaft mit der Einsamkeit des Waldes. Der Blick von der gut erhaltenen Poller Burgruine, die im13. Jahrhundert erstmals als Eversteiner Burg Erwähnung fand, reicht weit hinein ins idyllische Wesertalund hinunter zu der gut frequentierten Gierseilfähre, die seit 1905 in Betrieb ist. Auf dem Weg von der Zivilisationin die erholsame Ruhe des Habichtstals ist das muntere Plätschern des Spiekersiekbaches zu hören, der vorbei an der Knickmühle seinen Weg findet.
