Der Plaça Es Born ist der zentrale Platz der Stadt und ehemaliger Waffenplatz. Hier finden wir Gebäude wie; das Rathaus, das alte königliche Alcázar, erbaut auf einer muslimischen Burg; der 22 Meter hohe Obelisk, der sich in der Mitte des Platzes befindet und Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts zur Erinnerung an den türkischen Überfall von 1558 errichtet wurde; der Aussichtspunkt, der sich oberhalb der Stadtmauern aus dem 17. Jahrhundert befindet und von dem aus man den Hafen beobachtet; das Theater des Born, das 1873 erbaut wurde; der Palast Torresaura und der Palast Salort aus dem frühen 18. Jahrhundert; und die Kirche Sant Francesc.
