In der Nähe von Berga, in La Pobla de Lillet, wohnte Antoni Gaudi Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts vorübergehend bei der Familie Artigas für ein Projekt von Eusebi Güell. Als Dank für ihre Gastfreundschaft entwarf er die Jardins Artigas. Ein Garten, in dem Natur und Architektur harmonisch verschmelzen.
