Das von vier Künstlern gegründete Roue Libre ist ein kollektives Künstleratelier, das Künstler mit unterschiedlichen Praktiken beherbergt. Malerei, Keramik, Illustration, 3D-Druck, Skulpturen. Diese plastischen Ausdrucksformen finden in Ateliers und einem Raum für neue Technologien statt. Der Raum ist für jede der Besonderheiten der Künstler des Kollektivs ausgestattet und angepasst und soll ein Ort des Experimentierens für alle sein. Die Künstler bieten verschiedene Kurse, Workshops und Residenzen an, die für alle offen sind, wie ein echter Dritter Ort.
Roue Libre bietet außerdem zwei Arten von Künstlerresidenzen an: spontane Residenzen auf Bewerbung und thematische Residenzen ein- bis zweimal im Jahr.
