Chickney ist ein Dorf und eine Zivilgemeinde in der Nähe von Broxted und southwest von Thaxted in Uttlesford, Essex, England. Im Jahr 2001 betrug die Bevölkerung der Zivilgemeinde Chickney 38. Chickney hat eine Kirche namens St. Mary's Church, die unter Denkmalschutz steht und eine nicht mehr genutzte Kirche ist, die unter der Obhut des Churches Conservation Trust steht. Der Bahnhof Sibleys in der Gemeinde wurde 1953 geschlossen. Chickney wurde im Domesday Book als Cicchenai aufgezeichnet.
