Barolo ist eine italienische Gemeinde mit 680 Einwohnern in der Provinz Cuneo in der Region Piemont. Hier wird der gleichnamige Rotwein angebaut. Innerhalb der Gemeinde ist der Cannubi-Hügel eines der bekanntesten Weinanbaugebiete; hier werden seit der Römerzeit mit Nebbiolo-Trauben kultiviert. Barolo ist Träger der Bandiera Arancione des Touring Club Italiano .
