Cantù [kanˈtu] ist eine Stadt mit 40.031 Einwohnern in der norditalienischen Provinz Como, Region Lombardei.
Sie liegt etwa 12 Kilometer südlich vom Provinzhauptort Como in der Hügellandschaft der Brianza. Die gesamte Brianza ist bekannt für ihre Möbelindustrie. Die Nachbargemeinden sind am Norden Senna Comasco, am Osten Brenna , am Süden Mariano Comense, Figino Serenza und Carimate, und am Westen Cucciago.
